When Tisca first introduced its WOLLBRÜSSEL quality in 1963 in a range of distinctive colours, nobody could have suspected that it was destined to become a genuine classic.
Unchanged in its structure for 50 years, woven from 100 per cent pure new wool – WOLLBRÜSSEL is an original which remains untarnished by the passage of time. A bouclé wool carpet with closed loops and a silken moiré sheen effect achieved by the use of twisted pile warps made from different yarns – timeless and robust, authentic and precious in its quality
After half a century we have decided to review the colour palette slightly and add new shades. At the same time, we would ask all our clients for whom a colour variation may seem too modern to show tolerance and patience. The fact is that we have opened a new chapter in the history of WOLLBRÜSSEL. And in another 50 years time, if not sooner, the new colours too will come to be regarded as genuine classics.
