Tisca art
Bereits im Jahr 1955 hat unser Firmengründer Anton Tischhauser zusammen mit Gottfried Honegger, einer der international wichtigsten konkreten Künstler seiner Generation, die wohl weltweit ersten Kunst-Teppiche hergestellt.
Gottfried Honegger hat immer die Haltung vertreten, dass Kunst, Leben und Alltag unmittelbar miteinander verbunden sein sollten und dass ein Stuhl oder auch ein Teppich den gleichen Stellenwert einnehmen kann wie ein Bild an der Wand oder eine Skulptur im Raum. Sein Wunsch war, dass der Kunst-Teppich als Alltagsgegenstand benutzt wird, und nicht nur wie ein Bild an der Wand hängt.

Gottfried Honegger, born in 1917 in Zurich, is one of the most important tangible artists of his generation internationally. He began as a successful commercial artist in Paris, Zurich and New York. In the 1950ies Honegger decided to concentrate fully on liberal art. Since then his works have been exhibited in famous institutions throughout the world and his art can be found in important collections. Yet, Gottfried Honegger's interest in applied art has remained. He has always maintained that art, life and the daily routine should be directly linked to each other and that a chair or a carpet is just as valuable as a picture on the wall or a sculpture in a room. The carpet project "25 - 10 – 50" consists of 25 carpets that Gottfried Honegger developed in 2007 with Tisca. They are based on some of his drawings from the past 50 years. Each carpet is produced in a strictly limited series of only ten copies.

Urs Eberle lebt und arbeitet in St. Gallen. Er hat an der Kunsthochschule Kassel und am Architekturtechnikum St.Gallen studiert. Zahlreiche Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland,sowie Projekte für Kunst am Bau. Längere Aufenthalte in San Francisco sowiein Rom, Berlin und Valencia.
