Pass-tufting

What's impossible in industrial tufting production is made possible by unique machines. Pile threads are punched into ready-made backing over a width of 40 cm, like in a sewing machine. Grippers form loops from the individual threads during the needle penetration. A cut-pile surface can also be produced by optionally cutting open the loops. Thanks to a hand-guided pattern repeat and control of the 40 cm wide pass machines, the size and shape of carpets can be adapted to customer wishes. This makes this method ideal for the manufacture of high-quality, comfortable carpets and rugs to customer specifications.
